About The Position

RESPEC is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer for its Water market sector, located in Colorado Springs or Loveland, Colorado. The role supports a multidisciplinary team delivering engineering and environmental solutions for water and wastewater challenges. Projects address water and wastewater facilities and infrastructure, with a focus on sustainability, innovation, quality of life, and responsible resource management.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• At least 4 years of experience related to water and wastewater facilities, including treatment, collection, distribution, and pumping systems.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record; the role requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel.

Nice To Haves

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado, or ability to obtain one within six months.
• Experience preparing engineering plans, specifications, and technical reports.
• Knowledge of hydraulic engineering principles and water/wastewater infrastructure.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience coordinating with clients, regulators, and project stakeholders.
