About The Position
RESPEC is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer for its Water market sector, based in Colorado Springs or Loveland, Colorado. The role supports multidisciplinary engineering and environmental projects addressing water and wastewater challenges, with a focus on sustainable and innovative solutions that improve quality of life and promote responsible resource management.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- At least 4 years of experience related to water and wastewater facilities, including treatment, collection, distribution, and pumping systems.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record; the position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel.
Nice To Haves
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado, or ability to obtain one within six months.
- Experience preparing engineering plans, specifications, and technical reports.
- Knowledge of hydraulic engineering principles and water/wastewater infrastructure.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience coordinating with clients, regulators, and project stakeholders.
