About The Position

As a Water Quality Specialist, you help homeowners understand their water and offer solutions to improve its quality. You test water, explain the results, and recommend products that support healthier homes. The role includes learning residential water quality needs, quoting prices, conducting plumbing inspections, and performing basic repairs. Training is provided to expand knowledge and areas of expertise, with further certification expected. The position involves customer-facing work in homes and businesses, sales, on-call assignments, and completion of proposed work as quoted.

Requirements

Sales experience is required.
Must be able to perform a plumbing inspection; training is available.
Ability to learn to determine residential water quality needs, quote prices, and perform repairs.
Ability to interact and communicate well with customers in their homes and businesses.
Ability to lift and maneuver up to 25 pounds.
Ability to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend, reach overhead, and work on ladders.
Use of hand and power tools is essential.
Positive attitude and ability to work hard, smart, and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Understand residential plumbing operation, water quality, and basic plumbing repairs.
Test water, explain results, and recommend products that improve water quality.
Perform plumbing inspections and determine residential water quality needs.
Quote replacements or repairs accurately and complete proposed work as quoted.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff, and coworkers.
Consistently sell company equipment, accessories, and promotional materials.
Participate in on-call assignments and provide backup as required.
Attend required staff meetings and training sessions.
Follow company policies and procedures and contribute to a professional, friendly work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
