About The Position

The Water Quality Specialist helps homeowners understand their water and offers solutions to improve water quality. The role involves testing water, explaining results, recommending products, conducting plumbing inspections, determining residential water quality needs, quoting prices, and performing repairs. Training to expand knowledge and expertise will be provided, with further certification expected. The specialist communicates with customers in homes and businesses and works to provide accurate, professional service.

Requirements

• Sales experience is required.
• Must be able to perform a plumbing inspection; training is available.
• Ability to learn to determine residential water quality needs, quote prices, and perform repairs.
• Ability to interact and communicate well with customers in their homes and businesses.
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend, reach overhead, and work on ladders.
• Use of hand and power tools is essential.
• Positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Test water, explain results, and recommend products that improve water quality.
• Perform plumbing inspections and determine residential water quality needs.
• Quote prices accurately for replacements and repairs, and complete proposed work as quoted.
• Perform basic plumbing repairs.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff, and coworkers.
• Participate in on-call assignments and provide backup as required.
• Attend required staff meetings and training sessions.
• Promote a positive, professional, and friendly work environment.
• Work hard, smart, and efficiently while following company policies and procedures.
• Consistently sell company equipment, accessories, and promotional materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
