About The Position

The Water Quality Specialist helps homeowners understand their water and offers solutions to improve water quality. The role involves testing water, explaining results, recommending products, performing plumbing inspections, quoting and completing proposed repairs or replacements, and educating customers about residential water quality needs. Training is available, with further certification expected. The position also includes on-call assignments and participation in staff meetings and training.

Requirements

Sales experience is required.
Must be able to perform a plumbing inspection; training is available.
Must be able to learn to determine residential water quality needs, quote prices, and perform repairs.
Must be able to interact and communicate well with customers in their homes and businesses.
Ability to lift and maneuver up to 25 pounds.
Ability to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend, reach overhead, and work on ladders.
Ability to use hand and power tools.
Positive attitude and ability to promote a professional, friendly work environment.

Responsibilities

Test residential water, explain results to customers, and recommend products that improve water quality.
Perform plumbing inspections and identify residential water quality needs and basic plumbing repairs.
Quote replacements or repairs accurately and complete proposed work as quoted.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff, and coworkers.
Sell company equipment, accessories, and promotional materials.
Participate in on-call assignments and provide backup as required.
Attend required staff meetings and training sessions.
Follow company policies and procedures and contribute to a professional, friendly work environment.
Work hard, smart, and efficiently.
Perform other duties as assigned.
