Water Patrolman (SE)

About The Position
Under general supervision, patrols assigned division laterals primarily on swing and graveyard shifts to minimize discharge; controls the distribution and flow of irrigation water; makes water changes for users in accordance with water orders; and records headgate settings and measurements on run slips. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school equivalent with supplemental courses in computer operations and records management.
- One year of experience involving customer service, knowledge of county roads and canal locations, computer operations, record-keeping procedures, and working in local weather conditions.
- A negative drug test is required as a condition of employment.
- Employees must notify supervision when applying for a position.
