About The Position

The Water Operations Technician is responsible for moving and operating a mobile diesel pump at oil and gas locations to manage produced water. The role also involves recording tank levels, volumes, and valve seals; changing filters; and operating SWDs. The technician may perform general maintenance on pumps, valves, and fittings, will learn valve and piping alignments, and must complete the daily pumping route.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in oil and gas field operations.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Mechanical aptitude and a general understanding of oil and gas field operations.
Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to work in adverse outdoor conditions, including hot summer days and cold winter conditions.
Ability to work overtime regularly and willingness to be on call 24/7 if needed.
U.S. work authorization.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
Willingness to work in a hazardous environment.
Ability to perform the listed physical duties, including lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Ability to use close, distance, color, and peripheral vision and depth perception.
