About The Position

ServiceMaster CDR is hiring an entry-level Water Restoration Technician to help restore homes and businesses affected by water, fire, and mold damage. The role provides comprehensive training, hands-on experience, and opportunities for career growth. Technicians respond to emergency calls, perform mitigation and remediation work, use professional drying equipment, document project progress, and work with customers and colleagues to complete projects. The position involves physical work in varied environments and may require overtime and weekend work.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
Customer service skills and willingness to learn.
Comfort using technology such as smartphones and tablets.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physical conditions such as attics and crawl spaces.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and in varying weather conditions.
Ability to climb ladders, wear respirators when needed, and work in tight spaces.
Sense of urgency and ability to follow directions.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of hand tools; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Respond to emergency calls and initiate water mitigation services.
Perform water extraction, steam cleaning, demolition, and mold remediation.
Set up and monitor professional drying equipment.
Document project progress using job management software.
Collaborate with homeowners, office staff, and lead technicians to complete scheduled projects.
Maintain company standards for appearance, communication, and equipment upkeep.
