About The Position

ServiceMaster CDR is hiring an entry-level Water Restoration Technician to help homes, businesses, and communities recover from water and other disaster damage. The role provides hands-on experience and comprehensive training, with opportunities for career growth and upward mobility. Technicians respond to emergency calls, perform mitigation and restoration work, operate drying equipment, document progress in job management software, and collaborate with customers and team members. Work may take place in physically demanding conditions, including attics, crawl spaces, tight spaces, and varying weather.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
Customer service skills and willingness to learn.
Comfort using technology such as smartphones and tablets.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied physical conditions, including attics and crawl spaces.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and in varying weather conditions.
Ability to climb ladders, wear respirators when needed, and work in tight spaces.
Strong sense of urgency and ability to follow directions.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of hand tools; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Respond to emergency calls and initiate water mitigation services.
Perform water extraction, steam cleaning, demolition, and mold remediation.
Set up and monitor professional drying equipment.
Document job progress using job management software.
Work with homeowners, office staff, and lead technicians to complete scheduled projects.
Maintain company standards for appearance, communication, and equipment upkeep.
