About The Position

ServiceMaster CDR is hiring an entry-level Water Restoration Technician to help communities recover from water, fire, and mold damage. The role provides hands-on experience and comprehensive training, with opportunities for career growth at a full-service disaster restoration company operating across Texas and Ohio. The technician responds to emergency calls and performs water mitigation and restoration work, including water extraction, steam cleaning, demolition, mold remediation, and setting up and monitoring drying equipment. The position also involves documenting job progress in job management software, collaborating with homeowners and colleagues to complete projects, and maintaining company standards for appearance, communication, and equipment upkeep. Work may involve overtime, weekends, varying weather, ladders, respirators, and tight spaces.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
Customer service skills and a desire to learn.
Comfort using technology such as smartphones and tablets.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied physical conditions, including attics and crawl spaces.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and in varying weather conditions.
Ability to climb ladders, wear respirators when needed, and work in tight spaces.
Sense of urgency and ability to follow directions.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of hand tools; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
