About The Position

This is a full-time, hourly position offering a structured 12-month, on-the-job apprenticeship program designed to train individuals with no prior restoration experience into fully certified Water Mitigation Technicians. Apprentices will work alongside senior technicians on live emergency water loss sites from the beginning, earn IICRC certifications funded by the company, and progress through defined wage increases as they achieve milestones. The program includes hands-on training, certification opportunities, and advancement in responsibilities and pay over the course of the year.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record.
Must be at least 25 years old.
Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
Ability to lift and carry 50–75 lbs repeatedly.
Ability to climb ladders, work in crawlspaces, attics, and confined spaces.
Ability to stand/kneel/bend for full shifts.
Must be clean-shaven at the sealing surface when respirator use is required.
Comfortable working in wet, hot, cold, and contaminated environments in full PPE.
Smartphone-capable.
Reliable transportation to the shop.

Responsibilities

Assist senior technicians with water extraction and equipment setup under direct supervision.
Perform daily monitoring of job sites and maintain accurate moisture logs.
Independently manage straightforward water loss jobs from start to finish, including customer walkthroughs and scope documentation.
Participate in on-call rotation.
Handle Category 3 water losses and containment builds.
Mentor newer apprentices.
Ensure documentation is accurate and ready for carrier submission.
Operate under OSHA tight-fitting respirator rules, requiring a clean-shaven face at the sealing surface.
Work in various environments including wet, hot, cold, and contaminated conditions while wearing full PPE.
Utilize smartphone capabilities for photo and data documentation.
