About The Position

Roto-Rooter Services Company is hiring a water-jetting expert to serve commercial and residential customers through its Houston branch, servicing the Galveston, Texas area. The role addresses challenging drain-cleaning and preventive-maintenance issues using high-pressure water-jetting equipment. The technician also supports growth of the commercial customer base by visiting prospective customers and offering preventive-maintenance agreements.

Requirements

Ability to grasp, push, and pull hose, and to squat, bend, and twist to use a water-jetting system safely and effectively.
Valid driver's license.
A DOT license is required for branches using a pull-behind jet machine.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Good written and oral communication skills in English for effective customer service.

Responsibilities

Use high-pressure water-jetting equipment to resolve customer drain-cleaning and preventive-maintenance issues.
Locate lines, provide repair estimates, and perform service work.
Visit target commercial customers and offer preventive-maintenance agreements.
Operate the truck and water-jetting system using levers and pedals.
Document and compute weekly receipts, invoices, and expenses with branch accounting personnel.
Maintain the truck by recharging batteries, filling the fuel tank, and cleaning vehicle parts and equipment.
