About The Position

Garver’s experienced Water Team is seeking a Water Engineering Intern to join our team in our Oklahoma City office. This intern will gain real-world experience in design while working in a fast-paced, professional setting. Join our group of professionals who are working with communities throughout the region and are developing solutions for their water needs. The Garver Launch Program elevates the summer experience with an immersive hands-on intern development program. Interns will engage daily with fellow Garver Launch interns and industry professionals to build their network, participate in Garver's acclaimed wellness program, give back to the community through volunteer activities as part of Garver Gives, and enhance professional growth by collaborating with Garver's Learning and Development team.

Requirements

Candidates must be pursuing a civil, environmental, or biological/biosystems engineering bachelor’s degree in an ABET accredited program.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

Experience with AutoCAD or Revit.

Responsibilities

Work alongside and be mentored by experienced water professionals and industry leaders.
Gain real-world environmental and civil engineering experience through assisting with a wide array of water projects.
Receive training from experienced water staff and project managers.
Gain experience in the competitive consulting engineering industry.
Visit some of Garver’s Water project sites.
