About The Position

Flood Pro is seeking a diligent and proactive Water Damage Assistant to support Lead Technicians with water damage restoration. The role helps restore affected properties to their pre-loss condition by assisting with water extraction, drying, dehumidification, removal of damaged materials, and cleaning and sanitization. The position is physically demanding and compensation is based on experience. The workday begins and ends at the company office in Lake Forest. The schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime.

Requirements

Ability to consistently lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in water damage restoration or a related construction field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist with water extraction, drying, and dehumidification at affected properties.
Support the removal and disposal of damaged flooring, drywall, insulation, and other materials.
Help clean and sanitize affected areas to prevent mold growth and maintain a safe environment.
Assist technicians with equipment setup, monitoring, and maintenance.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to protect yourself and team members.
Communicate with team members and clients about project progress.
