About The Position

MacLellan Integrated Services is a dynamic and rapidly growing organization that provides critical process cleaning services, and has expanded to offer a broad scope of maintenance, facilities management, HVAC, mechanical and industrial engineering services across North America. The Water Blaster role is part of a team operating high pressure water blasting equipment, completing tasks independently with minimal supervision. This role involves identifying potential issues and reporting them to a Group Leader for timely solutions. The Water Blaster is expected to embrace teamwork, contribute knowledge and experience, value diversity and inclusion, and seek innovative ways to improve safety and efficiency. The primary responsibility is performing critical process cleaning in an industrial setting, which includes participating in lockout/tagout procedures and operating high pressure (up to 40,000 psi) water blasting and mowing equipment. Specific tasks include blasting vehicle dollies, skids, and/or carriers; grate blasting; and pressure washing structural steel and holding tanks. Extensive PPE is required and provided, and comprehensive training is given. Water Blasters will also participate in lockout/tagout, climb ladders, hang plastic, hook up equipment, and conduct pre and post operational inspections. Other cleaning activities like shot blasting and jig inspection may also be required.

Responsibilities

  • Operating high pressure water blasting equipment (up to 40,000 psi)
