About The Position

The Water Blaster is part of a team that operates high-pressure water blasting equipment to perform critical process cleaning. The role completes task work independently with minimal supervision, identifies potential issues, and reports them to the Group Leader to develop timely solutions. The Water Blaster contributes knowledge and experience to the team and seeks ways to make work safer, easier, and faster. The position is physically demanding and involves working in hot and damp environments while wearing heavy PPE.

Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, and bend throughout the shift.
• Ability to hold and operate heavy equipment for extended periods.
• Ability to work in hot and damp environments and wear heavy personal protective equipment.
• Ability to climb stairs, push equipment, and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-pressure water blasting equipment as part of a team.
• Complete assigned task work independently with minimal supervision.
• Identify potential issues and report them to the Group Leader.
• Work with the Group Leader to develop timely solutions to potential issues.
• Contribute knowledge and experience to the team.
• Seek innovative ways to make work safer, easier, and faster.
