About The Position

The Waste Certification Analyst supports the Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) Waste Program by managing excess chemicals, waste residues, legacy materials, and equipment disposition, including low-level radioactive and transuranic (TRU) wastes. The role serves as the primary interface between SRNL and Solid Waste Management Facilities personnel for waste shipment planning and logistics, and supports established waste programs to ensure field compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, orders, and laws. The position prepares waste manifests and related documentation, directs waste packaging and transfer activities, provides shipment information for facility schedules, coordinates material transfers with Chemical Coordinators, Site Trucking, Rigging, and Operations, contributes to annual waste forecasts, and conducts monthly and weekly storage-area field inspections.
