About The Position
Serves as a member of the front-line production team, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting a three-tunnel wash system. The operator works and learns alongside experienced Maintenance Technicians. The position is located at 9905 S. 13th Street, Oak Creek, WI 53154. The scheduled shift is 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, though the schedule may vary; further details are provided during the interview. Pay is $18 or more per hour.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the flow of linen into the tunnel, washers, dryers, and related equipment.
- Pull bags and/or process other laundry activities in the designated order.
- Load linen into empty tunnel pockets as they transfer.
- Keep pockets loaded correctly with the proper load size and prevent overloading.
- Follow directions and safety precautions.
- Meet hourly production standards.
- Notify a supervisor when frequent technical problems affect the ability to meet production standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
