About The Position
Core Linen Services is a provider of hospital and hospitality laundry processing services. The Washfloor Tunnel Operator is part of the front-line production team and operates, monitors, and troubleshoots a three-tunnel wash system while working and learning from experienced Maintenance Technicians. The role is based at 9905 S. 13th Street, Oak Creek, Wisconsin. The listed schedule is 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM and may vary; further details are provided during the interview. Pay is $18 or more per hour.
Requirements
- Be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the flow of linen into the tunnel, washers, dryers, and related equipment.
- Pull bags and perform other laundry activities in the designated order.
- Load linen into empty tunnel pockets as they transfer.
- Keep pockets loaded correctly with the proper load size and prevent overloading.
- Follow directions and safety precautions.
- Maintain production standards as determined per hour.
- Notify a supervisor when frequent technical problems affect the ability to meet production standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
