About The Position

The Wash Aisle Operator processes soiled textiles through washing and drying by loading and unloading equipment, monitoring processes, and transporting textiles to the next stage of production. The role supports production flow and works as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility. The position reports to the Production Manager. The work involves physical tasks throughout the shift, including extended standing and walking, reaching overhead, pushing and pulling carts or bins, handling textiles, lifting up to 25 pounds, and stooping or bending. Production areas may expose employees to temperature variations, humidity, odors, lint, and dust. Soiled textiles come from customers such as restaurants, hotels, medical facilities, and shops. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug screening.

Requirements

Work as part of a team in a production environment.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job for the entire shift, including extended standing and walking, reaching overhead, pushing and pulling carts or bins, grasping and handling textiles, lifting up to 25 pounds, and stooping or bending.
Adhere to safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, and operate industrial washers, tumblers, extractors, lifts, hoists, and related laundry processing equipment.
Monitor washing and drying cycles and input required data into automated washing systems.
Maintain an efficient flow of textiles through the wash aisle and transport materials to the next stage of production.
Identify and report equipment malfunctions, process issues, or quality concerns to supervision.
Follow safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Support production flow and perform different team tasks based on daily operational needs.
