About The Position

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Heavy Duty Truck Parts Warranty Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warranty claims, inspecting parts, and ensuring compliance with warranty policies. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy-duty truck parts and excellent problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certification or training in automotive or heavy-duty truck parts is a plus.
  • Proven experience in warranty management or a related field, preferably in the heavy-duty truck parts industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of heavy-duty truck parts and systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in warranty management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Process and manage warranty claims for heavy-duty truck parts.
  • Review and verify the validity of warranty claims.
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding warranty issues.
  • Inspect returned parts to determine the cause of failure.
  • Document findings and prepare detailed reports.
  • Coordinate with the quality control team to identify recurring issues.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to customers regarding warranty claims.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records of all warranty claims and inspections.
  • Prepare and submit warranty claim reports to management.
  • Ensure compliance with all warranty policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in warranty management.
  • Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on industry standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall service quality.
