About The Position

The Warranty Coordinator processes and files warranty claims with various manufacturers, reviews and clears assigned pending claims, responds promptly to manufacturer requests, prepares parts and core returns, posts credits and payments, reconciles warranty receivables, follows up on unpaid claims as directed, and closes and posts warranty repair orders. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and applicants must be at least 18 years old. No experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Process and file warranty claims with various manufacturers as instructed by the Warranty Manager.
• Review and clear all assigned warranty claims in pending status daily.
• Respond rapidly to manufacturer requests to ensure warranty claims are processed in a timely manner.
• Prepare parts and core returns when requested by manufacturers.
• Post credits and warranty payments to the Warranty Receivables Schedule as needed.
• Reconcile the Warranty Receivable Schedule monthly.
• Assist with follow-up on unpaid claims as directed by the Warranty Manager.
• Close and post all warranty repair orders promptly.
