About The Position

The Warranty Coordinator Branch is responsible for reviewing and correcting all warranty claims generated by technicians to ensure they are ready for submission to vendors. This role involves processing warranty claims for Crown and other manufacturers represented by Crown, as well as managing accounts receivable for vendor warranty accounts. The coordinator will maintain warranty claim files, track claims from submission to payment or rejection, and handle the disposition of rejected warranties. Additionally, this position involves managing warranty parts, including shipping, tracking, and determining the disposition of returned parts. The role also includes assisting other parts personnel with tasks like receiving parts and answering phones.

Requirements

  • Less than 2 years related experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Review and correct all warranty claims generated through technicians to prepare for submission to vendors.
  • Process all Crown warranty claims and claims for any other manufacturer represented by Crown.
  • Review monthly A/R reports on all vendor warranty accounts.
  • Process all warranty claim paperwork and track claims from the time they are submitted to the time they are paid or rejected.
  • Maintain files on warranty claims.
  • Track rejected warranties and notify the Service Manager about them.
  • Prepare a monthly list of warranties not paid and determine their disposition.
  • Resubmit warranty claims as needed.
  • Maintain, ship, and track warranty parts to vendors or scrape them as needed.
  • Determine the disposition of warranty parts returned from vendors as a result of a rejected claim.
  • Assist other parts personnel as required, such as receiving parts and answering phones.
