About The Position

This posting is for any future growth needs our corporate accounting department will have. Anderson Automotive Group is looking for qualified applicants for potential future Warranty Associate positions. Our accounting associate roles are full-time, Monday-Friday, paid hourly positions, on-site at our support center located off of Glenwood Ave. in Raleigh, NC.

Requirements

• Ability to utilize multiple software systems
• Sense of urgency to meet deadlines
• Ability to read and understand technician verbiage and apply it to appropriate warranty coding
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of dealer software systems & DMS software
• Knowledge of warranty accounting processes
• Prior automotive warranty experience

Responsibilities

• Review claims for manufacturers’ compliance with policy and procedures
• Proficient in using Google Docs/Excel to assist in the resolution of dealer compliance issues
• Editing, coding, and finalizing repair orders
• Prepare, record, and submit warranty claims to the factory and/or distributor
• Maintain current warranty receivable schedules to ensure proper cash flow for dealerships
• Process all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation
• Handle all processing and accounting tasks for warranty claims
• Maintain appropriate manufacturer’s warranty certifications
• Ensure dealerships stay compliant with warranty policy
