Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma/GED
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in a warehouse and/or distribution facility preferably in the HVAC or related field

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations and procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates with manufacturers, suppliers, branch managers, and internal teams to address return-related issues and coordinate the return of non-stock, overstock, discontinued, and warranty-related products. Determines other appropriate action plans as needed
  • Reviews and monitors queues in Eclipse daily to adhere to vendor and Johnstone policies to ensure proper credit/warranties are issued.
  • Expedites incoming warranty returns and coordinates with the branch to ensure warranty items are thoroughly inspected and entered into the system within terms agreed with the vendor within 3 days of receipt.
  • Ensure full compliance with all manufacturer warranty systems and minimize the risk of warranty audit failure by adhering to established guidelines and procedures.
  • Maintains detailed records of all warranty claims, returns, discrepancies, and related communications to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Processes credits: and manages proper disposal or repair of items when needed.
  • Processes all discrepancies for freight claims, returns from corporate orders, or vendors
  • Train and educate employees on relevant processes.
  • Generate reports and perform analysis pertaining to return related items.
  • Assists the sales and operations departments when needed.
  • Utilizes the available cross references and websites for selling/matching products.
  • Maintains knowledge of new and existing products and inventory by participating in training, studying Johnstone and industry catalogs and web sites, and seeking knowledge.
