About The Position

We’re currently looking for a Warranty Administration Analyst to join our team in Franklin, TN. This role acts as a subject matter expert in Dealer labor rate increase requests, tracks individual and departmental activities, and provides support concerning labor rate reimbursement. The analyst will resolve issues and disputes, process credit/debit and manual claims, and assist management with monthly reports, claims processing performance, and routine warranty claims administration and application practices. A key responsibility includes the manual survey review of labor rate requests by analyzing dealer repair orders to ensure compliance with policy, procedure, and applicable state statutes. The role also involves record keeping of dealer requests, verification of documents, archiving, and maintaining department files. Additionally, the analyst will track department key performance indicators, communicate trends, identify process improvements, determine root causes, and propose solutions. Support will be provided through investigations, research of records, databases, reports, and spreadsheets. As necessary, the analyst will perform other related duties.

Requirements

  • Solid interpersonal, conflict resolution, negotiation, and decision making skills.
  • A full understanding of policies and procedures as they relate to both the corporate and dealership environment.
  • The ability to train, lead and guide both in a team situation as well as individual situations.
  • Five or more years of related experience in the automotive industry.
  • Work experience at a professional level is highly desired.
  • Previous automotive experience at either the manufacturer or dealer level is also desirable, especially in the parts and service area.
  • Related experience considered.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline preferred.
  • Consider equivalent related work experience, college or technical courses, seminars and in-house classroom training.
  • Working knowledge of word processor, spreadsheet, other PC applications, or mainframe applications to produce non-standard, creative products.
  • Extensive knowledge of CPIA system, NMPS, VIN3, FAST, and Infiniti AS/400 dealer system.
  • Candidates for this position must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be required to provide proof of employment eligibility at the time of hire; Nissan uses E-Verify to validate employment eligibility.

  • Performs other related duties of which the above are representative.
