About The Position
The Warehouseman is responsible for warehouse functions including receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for customer delivery while maintaining a safe and orderly warehouse. The role is based in a plant environment and routinely uses machinery such as forklifts, manlifts, and chariots. It has no direct supervisory responsibilities. The position is full-time, Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Little to no travel is expected.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Teamwork, organization, time management, attention to detail, self-motivation, and data management competencies.
- Ability to perform the stated physical demands, including frequently lifting up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Current forklift certification.
Responsibilities
- Complete processes for outgoing and incoming shipments.
- Verify and unload incoming shipments.
- Perform dock audits for outgoing shipments.
- Pull rolls for cut orders and/or transfers.
- Enter outgoing and incoming shipment data into the Jomar System.
- Consolidate waste and complete documentation.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
