This role is responsible for maintaining an organized and clean warehouse and laydown yard, supplying crews with daily material requests, and picking up/delivering materials as needed. The position involves loading and unloading reel and flatbed trailers, securing loads as required by DOT, and performing inventory on a regular basis. The Warehouse Yard Laborer will operate a forklift and perform other duties as assigned by management. Employees will be subjected to outside weather conditions, including wet/humid conditions, cold, heat, and humidity. The work environment can be loud, and employees may be exposed to slow or fast-moving traffic. Overtime is required as dictated by workload volumes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of related experience
• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to stop, stand and lift up to 50lbs.
• Clean driving record.
• Professional interpersonal communication
• Safety minded

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of CATV construction and parts a plus.
• Knowledge of fiber optic construction and parts a plus.
• Bilingual candidates preferred
