About The Position

Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel, Inc is a multi-location, full-service trailer dealership with an immediate opening at its Walpole, MA branch location. We are looking for a full time yard laborer with some trailer mechanic experience to join our team of trailer professionals. Requirements

Must have a strong knowledge regarding the safe handling and operation of trailers, tractors, containers, field offices, power jacks, lift gates, power tools, trailer parts and supplies.
Must be able to climb ladders and lift up to 50lbs.
A current driver’s license
Must present a professional, highly motivated, positive, results oriented, problem-solving attitude.
Must have good communication skills.
Must be able to work independently in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Must adhere to all Company policies including safety policies.
Must pass a standard pre-employment drug test and physical.
Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience a plus, will provide training.

Responsibilities

Assist techs as needed and support them on assigned jobs.
Wash all types of trailers as needed, using power washer and brushes.
Perform tasks in an efficient, timely, accurate, professional, and safe manner in accordance with all Company polices, DOT, OSHA and other governmental standards and regulations.
Unload material as needed in a safe and timely manner.
Utilize forklift in a safe manner to stack containers as well as decking and undecking of flatbed trailers.
Other duties as assigned.
