About The Position

Airgas is hiring a Warehouse/Yard Hand in Tallahassee, Florida. The role supports warehouse operations by moving materials while following facility work rules and maintaining quality and safety standards. Typical work includes loading, unloading, and palletizing safety products; caring for incoming and outgoing shipments and orders; keeping the work area clean and organized; operating powered industrial trucks as needed; and helping the team with other tasks that support facility operations.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of warehousing or similar experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and/or pull up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours.
• Knowledge of, or ability to learn, computer software systems.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Forklift experience.
• Pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and palletize safety products carefully to support quality and efficiency goals.
• Ensure incoming and outgoing shipments and orders are handled with care and meet quality expectations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with safety regulations.
• Operate powered industrial trucks as needed to support daily warehouse operations.
• Assist the team with other tasks as needed to support smooth facility operations.
• Follow facility work rules and meet or advance regular quality and safety standards.
