About The Position

Airgas is hiring a Warehouse/Yard Hand in Tallahassee, Florida. The role supports warehouse operations by moving materials, following facility work rules, and meeting or advancing quality and safety standards. Duties include handling safety products, supporting shipment quality, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, operating powered industrial trucks as needed, and assisting the team with other tasks. Requirements

• At least 1 year of warehousing or similar experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and/or pull up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to stand or walk for up to 10 hours.
• Knowledge of computer software systems or ability to learn them.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and palletize safety products carefully to support quality and efficiency goals.
• Ensure incoming and outgoing shipments and orders are handled with care and maintain shipment quality.
• Keep the work area clean and organized to support safety and comply with safety regulations.
• Operate powered industrial trucks as needed to support daily warehouse operations.
• Support the team with various tasks as needed to help the facility operate smoothly.
• Follow facility work rules and meet or advance regular quality and safety standards.
