About The Position

The Assoc II, Warehouse Ops assists with inbound or outbound warehouse activities as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor, while meeting quality, safety, productivity, and operational standards. Inbound work includes receiving products; outbound work includes shipping products. The role supports the efficient flow of goods through a distribution environment, from receipt and storage to shipment. The scheduled hours are 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Fridays and Sundays and the last Saturday of each month, or until the work is complete. There may be opportunities to pick up additional shifts on Thursdays. The anticipated pay range is $20.50–$24.07 per hour, based on experience and including shift differential. The position is not bonus eligible.

Requirements

1–2 years of experience preferred.
High school diploma, GED, equivalent, or equivalent work experience preferred.
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfort working at heights of 20–30 feet and regularly operating equipment.
Willingness to obtain certification on equipment such as reach trucks and cherry pickers.
Ability to learn and apply new information and methods, complete routine assignments, and refer complex or unusual problems to a supervisor.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Unload inbound trucks using a pallet jack or equivalent device to pull pallets out of trucks.
Use the Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products.
Follow applicable regulations when storing refrigerated specialty products.
Store products in warehouse locations using an order picker or other devices.
Pick products from warehouse locations and load them into outbound trucks.
Meet quality, safety, productivity, and operational standards.
Maintain appropriate licenses, training, and certifications and follow standard operating procedures and quality guidelines.
