About The Position

Specialized Staffing Solutions, LLC. is seeking a motivated Warehouse Worker for a contract-to-hire position in Kalamazoo, MI. This role involves inspecting, repairing, and refurbishing wooden pallets to meet quality standards. Requirements

Ability to safely use pneumatic nail guns, saws, and hand tools.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, labor-intensive environment.
Ability to lift 50–75 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in pallet repair, construction, warehouse, or production.

Responsibilities

Inspect incoming wooden pallets to determine repair needs and quality requirements.
Repair, rebuild, and refurbish pallets using nail guns, saws, pry bars, and other pneumatic or power tools.
Remove damaged boards and replace components to bring pallets up to grade.
Stack, sort, and organize finished pallets according to size, style, and quality specifications.
Rotate between designated workstations (tear-down, repair, build-up, sorting, stacking) based on daily production needs.
Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all company safety procedures.
Meet or exceed daily productivity and quality standards.
Communicate any equipment issues or material shortages to supervisors.
Assist team members with workflow requirements to support overall production.
Perform other warehouse or production duties as assigned.
