About The Position

Executes assigned warehouse duties accurately and efficiently to support corporate and customer objectives. Duties include picking, packing, shipping, and receiving products; operating warehouse systems and equipment; and following operational, quality, and safety procedures. The position is estimated to continue through December 2013, with the possibility of extension depending on department needs. One opening is on second shift and one is on third shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read and understand pick tickets, purchase orders, receiving slips, route slips, and instructions.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Prior forklift experience is required for receiving applications.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 70 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for lengthy periods.
• Ability to tolerate heights up to 26 feet.
• During peak operational periods, overtime may be required, including weekends.
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.
• Former employees must be eligible for rehire; current employees must be in good standing.

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Polaris products and parts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick assigned orders rapidly, efficiently, and accurately.
• Pack assigned orders rapidly, efficiently, and accurately.
• Operate the shipping system when assigned.
• Receive incoming products, including loading, unloading, counting, verifying, putting away, and collecting data.
• Understand barcode technology and operate RF equipment when assigned.
• Operate automated picking equipment, power conveyors, forklifts, automated carts, and other machinery as assigned.
• Follow applicable warehouse operational, quality, and safety procedures, and operate equipment safely.
• Help maintain a neat and orderly warehouse.
• Meet or exceed warehouse operational volume and quality standards for picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
• Actively participate in the PCI quality process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
