About The Position

Cargill is hiring a Warehouse Worker in its Food Enterprise, which serves food manufacturers, food service customers, and retailers with ingredients and branded products. The role involves repetitive, standardized warehouse operations supporting morning deliveries and the handling of warehouse inventory. The work includes operating a stand-up reach truck and pallet jack, stacking, scanning, and wrapping cases, and performing general warehouse upkeep. The position is full-time, pays $21.50 per hour, and offers a second-shift schedule of Sunday through Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. or until work is finished.

Requirements

Be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Be at least 18 years old.
Be able to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays with advance notice.
Be able to understand and communicate in English, verbally and in writing.
Be able to perform physical job duties, including bending, lifting up to 80 pounds, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions while using personal protective equipment; conditions may include heat, cold, dust, and loud noise.
Be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment, including a forklift.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills.
Forklift certification.
Experience working in a production or plant environment.
Experience with a stand-up reach truck.

Responsibilities

Pull computer-generated orders for morning deliveries.
Operate a stand-up reach truck to put away, rotate, and retrieve pallets from racks.
Operate a pallet jack to load and unload trailers.
Stack, scan, and wrap cases with stretch film.
Clean, empty trash cans, and perform general warehouse maintenance.
Wear required personal protective equipment, including a hardhat, steel-toe boots, and a freezer suit.
Perform other duties as assigned.
