About The Position

The Warehouse Worker performs warehouse duties that may include shipping and receiving, processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving warehouse stock. The role may require operating manual or powered equipment to move products. The position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• Up to 1 year of work-related experience.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate basic messages orally, write brief messages, and keep simple records.
• Ability to follow clear directions, standard procedures, and supervisor or manager guidance.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a warehouse or similar work environment.
• Prior experience with powered industrial trucks (PIT), such as forklifts or order pickers.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound products and put them away in designated locations.
• Pick or pull the correct products from appropriate locations and deliver them to the staging area or delivery truck.
• Operate manual or powered equipment to transport products throughout the warehouse.
• Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence.
• Maintain orderliness and housekeeping in assigned work areas.
• Comply with established company policies and procedures.
• Assume other duties as assigned.
