About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring experienced Warehouse Picker/Packers in Georgetown, Texas, to prepare customer orders accurately for shipment. The role involves picking, packing, and labeling products, using an order-picking cart, and following packaging and workplace safety procedures in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Full-time weekday day shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, at $18.25 per hour. Part-time weekend shift: Saturday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM and Sunday, 8:00 AM–2:00 PM, at $19.25 per hour. Pay is weekly. Direct deposit and debit card payment options are available. Health, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance are available subject to eligibility. Training and recruiting support are provided.

Requirements

Previous warehouse experience, including order picking, packing, or fulfillment.
Valid driver's license required to operate an order-picking cart.
Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established safety procedures.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check, as permitted by applicable law.
Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working in a distribution center, fulfillment center, or shipping warehouse.
Experience using warehouse packing supplies and shipping equipment.
Familiarity with order fulfillment processes, inventory handling, and warehouse safety practices.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Pick, pack, and label products accurately to prepare orders for shipment.
Operate an order-picking cart safely to move products through the warehouse.
Follow packaging procedures to protect products during shipping.
Use packing materials and equipment, including padding, tape guns, and other shipping supplies.
Verify order accuracy and ensure items are packed and labeled correctly.
