About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join the team as a Freight Unloader. The position involves unloading freight and ensuring items are handled safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. until work is finished, approximately 2 p.m. Pay is hourly during training and then transitions to a piecework structure based on the volume of freight unloaded.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Must have transportation to work and be available for the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Experience using pallet jacks, forklifts, and clamp machines.
• Pallet jack and forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight from delivery trucks and containers.
• Sort and organize items for storage or distribution.
• Handle items safely to prevent damage.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily unloading goals.
