About The Position

Penske Logistics is hiring warehouse dock associates to join its team. The role involves safely handling, sorting, staging, loading, and unloading warehouse freight and materials. Associates must maintain a clean and safe work area and may operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts as needed. The position is safety-sensitive and requires consistent alertness and safe work practices. No prior warehouse experience is required, though it is preferred.

Requirements

Proficient reading skills and the ability to follow directions.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate customer service, interpersonal, multitasking, organizational, flexibility, numerical, and time-management skills.
Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
Regular, predictable, full attendance.
Willingness to work the required schedule and at the specified location.
Complete a Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, including past employment, education, and criminal history, and drug screening.
Ability to remain alert and work safely, accepting responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others.
Ability to remember and understand instructions, guidelines, and other information.
Ability to see and verbally communicate; required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjusting focus.
Ability to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit; frequently use hands to touch, handle, and feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Ability to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.
