Warehouse Worker - Dock Associate - 2nd Shift

About The Position

Penske Logistics is hiring warehouse dock associates to join its team. This safety-sensitive warehouse position involves staging and sorting products for loading, safely loading and unloading trailers, sorting and placing parts in racks or designated areas, stacking cardboard boxes and pallets, moving materials within the warehouse, and scanning freight and parts. Associates may operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts as needed. The work is physically demanding and involves being on your feet for much of the shift, with frequent movement and regular lifting of up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds. The role requires working safely and maintaining a clean work area, in conditions that may be non-climate-controlled. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Compensation is $23.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential, for a total of $24.00 per hour. Requirements

Proficient reading skills and the ability to follow directions.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate customer service, interpersonal, multitasking, organizational, flexibility, numerical, and time-management skills.
Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
Regular, predictable, full attendance.
Willingness to work the required schedule at the specified location.

Ability to remember and understand instructions, guidelines, or other information.
Ability to see and verbally communicate, including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
