About The Position

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc., the exclusive Caterpillar dealer for western and central Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia, and western Maryland, is seeking a Parts Warehouse Worker. At the direction of the Parts Manager, this position performs clerical and warehouse activities supporting Parts Operations. Duties include maintaining a clean and safe workplace; operating a forklift; loading and unloading parts and freight; accurately picking, putting away, and delivering parts orders; handling shipping and receiving; fabricating hoses; processing cores and warranty items; and supporting inventory control. The position also requires accurate paperwork, customer service, problem-solving, independent work in a fast-paced environment, and completion of additional tasks as directed. Regular overtime is required. The role is part of a growing parts team at a company with 29 locations and opportunities for advancement.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Mechanical aptitude.
Intermediate computer, keyboarding, Microsoft Word, and Excel skills.
Ability to learn new software products, including Warrtrack and systems for literature/media and SIB requests.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to understand basic inventory control principles.
Ability to work with little or no supervision and handle multiple tasks effectively.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree in a business discipline or technical school education.
Strong customer service support experience in a mechanical or parts environment, including the ability to quickly learn various computer systems.
Familiarity with the product line.
An appropriate combination of education, skills, and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities
