About The Position

This position oversees all warehouse and window operations, maintains a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard, and loads and unloads lumber and/or building supplies. The role includes operating a forklift and giving direction to 3–7 warehouse workers. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Compensation is $50,000 per year with full benefits. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; and effectively present information to others one-on-one.
• Ability to maintain the lumber yard, keeping materials well organized and safe.
• Ability to periodically lift up to 80 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse/window operations.
• Train new associates.
• Manage hours worked.
• Maintain a safe environment and enforce safety standards.
• Control shrink.
• Operate a forklift.
• Keep management aware of delays or discrepancies.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard.
• Load and unload lumber and/or building supplies.
• Give direction to 3–7 warehouse workers.
• Respond to inquiries from other associates.
