About The Position

All Energy Solar is looking for a part-time Warehouse Technician to join our team for roughly 20 hours a week. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Materials Supervisor and the Director of Materials to maintain seamless, effective warehouse operations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism and maintains a positive, helpful attitude.
  • Capable of working effectively both independently with minimal oversight and as a collaborative team member.
  • Proficient with computers, including email applications and spreadsheet software.
  • Comfortable learning and utilizing RF scanning technology and warehouse inventory management systems (prior inventory experience is preferred).
  • At ease climbing ladders as needed.
  • Resides within a reasonable commuting distance of the facility in Aurora, Illinois.
  • Possesses a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable personal transportation.
  • Able to pass an MVR (motor vehicle report) background check to operate company vehicles and/or trailers for business tasks.
  • Obtains, maintains, and fulfills all requirements for DOT Medical certification.
  • Prolonged periods of walking, standing, and lifting (frequent).
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer (frequent).
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs. at a time (frequent).
  • Ability to type at least 30 words per minute (frequent).
  • Willing to occasionally work extended hours in extreme environments/climate (cold, heat, wind, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior inventory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts safely and effectively.
  • Receive, move, and track items using the RF Smart scanning system to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Execute kit assembly and kitting tasks with efficiency and safety.
  • Coordinate with delivery drivers and assist with receiving shipments, including periodic off-hours arrivals.
  • Transport materials to job sites as needed.
  • Maintain facility security and safety, completing and upholding lockdown protocols.
  • Support camera and security adjustments under the direction of the Director of Materials.
  • Remove warehouse and project debris from both shop interiors and building grounds.
  • Assist with company fleet maintenance and support.
  • Maintain active communication with the Warehouse Supervisor and team regarding deliveries, stock, and operational needs.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
