About The Position

Cardinal FG, a float glass manufacturer for residential windows in Portage, is hiring Warehouse Technicians to maintain inventory accuracy while picking and shipping glass as customers release it. Technicians stage and load glass on trucks for shipment and operate powered industrial vehicles, including an overhead crane, once trained. The available schedule is an 8-hour evening shift, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Friday. The role requires safe work practices, dependability, a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and effective teamwork. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, able to safely lift at least 50 pounds, and pass a pre-employment physical ability test and drug screen. Requirements

Tape measure reading and basic math skills.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Desire to work in a team environment.
Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
Ability to safely lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Maintain inventory accuracy.
Pick and ship glass as customers release it.
Stage and load glass on trucks for shipment.
Operate powered industrial vehicles once trained, including a forklift, side loader, overhead crane, and platform lift.
