About The Position

Sizemore, Inc. is hiring Warehouse Techs in Pendergrass, Georgia. The role involves cleaning warehouse areas, removing and disposing of packing materials, maintaining janitorial equipment, using specialized waste-handling equipment, and supporting a safe and efficient workplace. The employer is willing to train suitable candidates and describes the positions as direct hire, full-time work with career growth opportunities and weekly pay. Schedules are Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday, with either 6 a.m.–5 p.m. or 6 p.m.–5 a.m. shifts. Overtime may be required. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have reliable transportation, and pass a seven-year background check and drug test before employment.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must pass a seven-year background check and a drug test prior to employment.
Ability to lift or carry items generally weighing 50 pounds or less.
Ability to walk or stand for 85–90% of the shift and to use stairs, bend, stoop, and reach.

Responsibilities

Gather and dispose of cardboard, packing materials, wood, and other waste from designated gaylords and bins.
Clean flooring surfaces by vacuuming with push or backpack vacuums, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
Ensure cleaning chemicals are properly labeled, diluted, and used.
Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
Operate specialized equipment as needed, including augers, balers, and waste compactors.
Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policies and procedures.
Identify and implement projects that improve business-wide effectiveness and efficiency.
Follow and enforce Sizemore’s and the client’s policies and procedures.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
