About The Position

Sizemore, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Tech in Pendergrass, Georgia. The role involves janitorial and warehouse-cleaning work, including removing packing materials, cleaning floors, emptying trash, handling cleaning chemicals, and operating specialized waste-management equipment. Training is available for the right candidates. The position offers direct hire, full-time work, weekly pay, and opportunities for career growth. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation. A seven-year background check and drug test are conducted before employment. Schedules are Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday, with either 6 a.m.–5 p.m. or 6 p.m.–5 a.m. Work may take place indoors or outdoors in varying building and weather conditions. Employees may work overtime and spend most of the shift walking or standing, including using stairs, bending, stooping, and reaching. Items lifted or carried generally weigh 50 pounds or less.

Responsibilities

Gather and dispose of cardboard, packing materials, wood, and other waste from designated gaylords and bins.
Clean flooring surfaces by vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
Ensure cleaning chemicals are properly labeled, diluted, and used.
Maintain janitorial equipment in clean, safe, and operable condition.
Operate specialized equipment as needed, including augers, balers, and waste compactors.
Help prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing policy violators of applicable procedures.
Identify and implement projects to improve business-wide effectiveness and efficiency.
Follow and enforce Sizemore’s and the client’s policies and procedures.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
