About The Position

Hajoca Corporation is hiring a Warehouse Teammate/ Deliver Driver Non CDL for Weinstein Supply in Wilmington, Delaware. The role combines delivery driving and warehouse work, supporting customer service and the safe, accurate movement and handling of merchandise. Pay is $17 to $23 per hour. The driver portion of the role includes operating a truck safely and in compliance with company rules and applicable laws; loading, securing, delivering, and unloading merchandise; reviewing shipping documents and confirming order accuracy; obtaining delivery signatures; collecting payments for cash sales; resolving delivery discrepancies; and identifying sales leads. The teammate also inspects and maintains the truck, reports mechanical or safety issues, completes required vehicle inspection reports when applicable, and completes assigned safety and compliance training. The warehouse portion includes receiving and verifying vendor shipments and customer returns, stocking and maintaining inventory, picking and packing customer orders, handling shipping discrepancies and damaged or special-order merchandise, and completing shipment documentation. The role also involves operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment, keeping the warehouse clean and safe, protecting company assets, and assisting coworkers in serving customers. The position requires one year of warehouse receiving and material-handling experience. Drivers must be at least 21, have a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company requirements, be able to drive a vehicle over 10,000 pounds, and pass a Department of Transportation physical before starting and at least every two years while performing the role. Requirements

One year of warehouse receiving and material-handling experience.
Ability to drive a vehicle over 10,000 pounds.
At least 21 years old.
Possess a proper and valid driver’s license.
Driving record must meet company criteria for an Authorized Driver.
Pass a Department of Transportation physical examination before beginning work and at least every two years while employed and performing this job function.
Read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply and practice safety precautions in a warehouse and material-handling environment.
Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
Ability to remain calm and function effectively in stressful, unexpected, or emergency situations.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center.
Knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations governing motor vehicles, including commercial motor vehicles subject to Department of Transportation regulations.
Ability to learn to operate warehouse material-handling equipment.
Ability to learn and operate computer-related systems used in the delivery process.

Responsibilities

Operate trucks safely and in compliance with company rules and applicable laws and regulations.
Load and secure merchandise at the Profit Center and other locations, ensuring equipment needed for safe unloading is available.
Review shipping documents, confirm order accuracy, and maintain accurate directions to delivery destinations.
Unload and place merchandise as directed, obtain required delivery signatures, and collect payments for cash-sale deliveries before releasing merchandise.
Work with customers to resolve shipping discrepancies and provide sales leads based on prospective customers encountered during deliveries.
Inspect the truck and its parts and accessories before departure, keep the truck clean, report mechanical problems, complete applicable Driver’s Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports, and store keys in the approved location at the end of the workday.
Complete assigned safety and compliance training and other related duties as directed.
Count, verify, and receive incoming vendor shipments and customer returns.
Stock and maintain the warehouse; pick, document, and pack customer orders according to company procedures.
Handle shipping discrepancies and identify and properly store nonstock, special-order, damaged, defective, or nonsaleable merchandise.
Complete documentation for customer shipments delivered via third-party carrier.
Load and unload trucks and safely operate warehouse forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
Report stock depletions, count discrepancies, damaged or defective merchandise, and safety issues to the immediate supervisor.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety, and help protect Profit Center assets.
Assist coworkers in servicing customers and perform work in accordance with company Safety Standards.
Complete assigned safety and compliance training and other related duties as directed.
