About The Position

The Warehouse Systems Support Associate is an operational subject matter expert who bridges warehouse operations and the project team during system rollouts. The associate works independently in fast-paced operational environments, including refrigerated, freezer, and standard warehouse settings, and must be willing to travel up to 75% during the program. It requires close coordination with cross-functional project teams and warehouse associates, as well as the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment and across varied distribution center conditions.

  • Coaching or instructional training to effectively train, guide, and support warehouse personnel during system rollouts.
  • Working knowledge of end-to-end distribution center workflows, including receiving, putaway, inventory control, replenishment, picking, shipping, and transportation execution.
  • Understanding of WMS implementation, upgrade, go-live, testing, and hypercare stabilization activities.
  • Ability to document processes, identify operational exceptions, and support standardized procedure development.
  • Proficiency in executing test scripts, validating system functionality, and documenting issues during UAT and EUT.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to bridge warehouse operations and project teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify process gaps and communicate operational issues.
  • Ability to learn and use a WMS effectively and work independently in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Ability to work in refrigerated, freezer, and standard warehouse environments.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% during the implementation program.
  • Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the operational subject matter expert between distribution center operations and the WMS project team across receiving, putaway, inventory control, replenishment, picking, shipping, and transportation execution.
  • Document current processes, identify exceptions and process gaps, and assist in developing standardized operating procedures.
  • Execute test scripts, validate system functionality, and accurately document issues during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and End User Testing (EUT).
  • Train, coach, and support supervisors, super users, and warehouse associates to encourage adoption of new warehouse processes and system capabilities.
  • Support implementation activities through training, testing, go-live, and hypercare stabilization while maintaining strong communication across operational teams.
