About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, focusing on supervising warehouse associates and achieving daily production goals. The role sets work priorities and assignments, communicates objectives and productivity requirements, leads shift meetings, and supports safe and effective warehouse practices. The supervisor also manages associate relations and development, working with Management and Human Resources on employee issues and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, compliance, and accountability.

Requirements

Two or more years of warehouse supervisor experience.
Experience with warehouse management systems.
Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
Working knowledge of warehouse and mechanical equipment.
Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

Set priorities and work assignments, and provide direction and feedback to warehouse associates.
Review daily work objectives and determine shift productivity requirements to meet overall building objectives.
Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and submit daily end-of-shift reports.
Train associates on, enforce, and communicate company policies and procedures.
Maintain safe warehouse practices and procedures by driving safety compliance throughout the facility.
Manage human resources practices with associates and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
Work with Management and Human Resources to resolve employee relations issues, discipline actions, problems, and terminations.
Provide feedback, coaching, and recognition to enhance associate skill development.
Create and foster a culture of continuous improvement, compliance, and accountability.
