About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, with a focus on supervising warehouse associates and achieving daily production goals. The role sets priorities and assignments, provides direction and feedback, reviews shift objectives and productivity requirements, and helps ensure the warehouse meets overall building objectives. The supervisor also supports safety, policy compliance, employee relations, associate development, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

At least 2 years of warehouse supervisor experience.
Experience with warehouse management systems.
Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
Working knowledge of warehouse and mechanical equipment.
Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

Set priorities and work assignments, and provide direction and feedback to warehouse associates.
Review daily work objectives and determine shift productivity requirements to meet overall building objectives.
Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and submit daily end-of-shift reports.
Train associates and enforce and communicate company policies and procedures.
Maintain safe warehouse practices and procedures throughout the facility by driving safety compliance.
Manage human resources practices with associates and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
Work with Management and Human Resources to resolve employee relations issues, discipline actions, problems, and terminations.
Provide feedback, coaching, and recognition to enhance associates’ skill development.
Create and foster a culture of continuous improvement, compliance, and accountability.
